Allens, The Corporate Finance Network’s member firm for the South Manchester and North Cheshire area, have assisted their client in securing a future for their business.
The client, a company in the freight forwarding industry, approached Allens when they were suffering due to the extremely difficult financial climate, meaning insolvency was, unfortunately, the only option. However, shrewd advice from Allens has ensured that the client can still see a bright future ahead.
John Sheehan, of Allens, provided a professional opinion on the trading situation, and prepared valuations and extensive financial projections for an alternative structure. He worked alongside the Board of Directors and other professionals, including corporate recovery advisors Leonard Curtis, and was able to secure financing for the new business in the amount of £1,000,000.
The client was delighted to be able to recommence trading in May 2009, and Allens continue to support them through this ongoing process.
