Lamont Pridmore first became aware of the potential of this deal when they were made aware of the local council's intention to sell off a division to the private sector. Chris provided detailed advice on the strategic fit of the new acquisition into the client's existing business, with benefits including the provision of retail routes to market and e-commerce capabilities. He also provided advice on the detailed financial aspects of the potential deal, and the funding options available to the client.
The client, having benefited from Chris's extensive experience, decided to go ahead with the purchase, completing the acquisition for £350,000. Lamont Pridmore is now supporting the client through the integration process, helping them implement a plan to increase turnover by £1.5 million.
