LEES Accountants, The Corporate Finance Network's representative in East Anglia, have recently completed Project Target, the disposal of a company in the leisure industry.
Jerry Hyde, of LEES, was approached by the client, who was looking to sell the successful business in the leisure industry, in order to move onto new ventures. Jerry acted as lead advisor throughout the deal, providing a corporate finance advisory service, as well as highlighting potential tax issues surrounding the sale.
Jerry also conducted a due diligence investigation into the business, and conducted extensive negotiations with the buyer, and liaison with solicitors for both parties. His hard work paid off when the deal completed successfully in June.
