Kirsty McGregor, Chairman and Founder of The Corporate Finance Network has been commissioned by ABFA (The Asset Based Finance Association) to present a session at their Annual Conference in Barcelona in November 2008
The conference with a theme of "The Bigger Picture" is to be hosted by Jon Sopel, presenter of The Politics Show on BBC1.
Kirsty's presentation, entitled "Back to the real world - what's going on at the coalface?" is aiming to demonstrate to the audience, (comprising mainly of the invoice discounting, factoring and asset based lenders from the UK and Europe) about the issues faced by SMEs in the current economic climate.
She will be using research conducted from within The Corporate Finance Network of accountancy firms, with 25 offices and approximately 200,000 clients, the overwhelming majority of which are small & medium sized owner-managed businesses.
Other speakers include Karren Brady, Managing Director of Birmingham City FC and Dr Kjell Nordstrom, author and international speaker.
