The Corporate Finance Network has today announced the launch of its National Management Buy-Out Training Programme
The programme is aimed at management teams who may be interested in buying their employer's business at some point in the future. It will be delivered across six sessions during 2010, all based at one central location in the UK - the Hilton Hotel at East Midlands Airport. And with sessions priced at just £150 each per person, they are very cost effective.
Kirsty McGregor, Chairman & Founder of The Corporate Finance Network explains why this new programme has been launched. "Having advised SMEs for many years, I have found that there are many more possible MBOs than those that actually happen. Potential MBO teams may not have the necessary information, skills and understanding to help them actually do the deal in the first place, and then become strong directors and owners of businesses.
So, in order to help our firms' clients who are looking to sell in the future, we want to give their management teams training and information so that an MBO may be a possible exit route for more businesses.
So we are delighted to launch this programme which covers, not only how a corporate deal works, the role of due diligence, the lawyers etc, but also general finance training, and other non-financial modules, all of which is essential knowledge for any future company directors.
We look forward to the day that our first delegates complete their MBO transaction and become company owners themselves."
